The matters above mentioned were listed before Hon'ble Court on 08.09.2014, when the Court was pleased to pass inter-alia the following order:-
"Application for permission to file special leave petitioners is granted. Delay condoned. Issue notice returnable in eight weeks. Dasti, in addition to the ordinary process is permitted."
It is submitted that pursuant to aforesaid orders show cause notice was issued respondent Nos. 1 to 6 in both the SLPs (respondent Nos. 2 to 5 are common) on 14.10.2014 by registered A.D. as well as dasti. A.D. cards duly signed by respondent No. 1 in SLP(C) 26991/2014 and common respondent Nos. 2 to 5 in both the SLPs but no one has entered appearance on their behalf. Unserved cover containing notice has been received in respect of respondent No. 1 in SLP(C) No. 26992/2014 with postal remarks "No such person". Counsel for the petitioners has not filed affidavit with proof of dasti in respect of respondent No. 1 in SLP(C) No. 26992/2014 so far.
For non-completion of service upon unserved respondent No.1 in SLP(C) No. 26992/2014, the matters were listed before the Court of Ld. Registrar from time to time and lastly listed on 10.08.2016, "Ld. Counsel for the petitioner has failed to take fresh steps for the service of notice to the respondent No. 1 in SLP(C) No. 26992/2014 despite opportunities. Viewed in that context, the matter shall be processed for listing before the Hon'ble Judge in Chambers for further future directions. Await orders. List thereafter."
It is submitted that counsel for the petitioners has neither filed fresh particulars of unserved respondent No.1 alongwith spare copy of SLP in SLP(C) No. 26992/2014 nor taken appropriate steps for the service of notice to the said respondent so far.
The default on the part of counsel for the petitioners is reported to Hon'ble Judge in Chambers with this office report. DATED THIS THE 11th DAY OF AUGUST, 2016.
