Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Issue notice.

Some of the selected candidates have entered caveat and on their behalf Mr. Roy Abraham, learned counsel is appearing. Four weeks' time is allowed to file counter affidavit.

Issue notice to other respondents in the special leave petitions as also on the prayer for interim relief returnable within four weeks.

The University in their counter affidavit must explain as to why in spite of giving undertaking to the High Court that weightage will be given to the number of years of service rendered by the petitioners, the same has not been complied with.
