1 The question of law which has been raised in the appeal under Section 15Z of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act 1992 is the subject of a pending civil appeal, being Civil Appeal No 4207 of 2020 (Securities and Exchange Board of India v Monnet Ispat and Energy Limited). Notice has been issued on 1 February 2021. The impugned order of the Securities Appellate Tribunal has followed the decision in Monnet Ispat and Energy Limited. Hence, issue notice.
2 Dasti, in addition, is permitted.
- 3 Counter affidavit shall be filed within four weeks of service.
- 4 Tag with Civil Appeal No 4207 of 2020.
- 5 The Registry shall list Civil Appeal No 4207 of 2020, together with the present appeal, in the first week of August 2021 on a non-miscellaneous day for final disposal.
