Issue notice.

Mr. Ranjit Kumar submits that Mr. Neeraj Kumar Sharma,Advocate, has already entered appearance on behalf of respondent no.1-U.O.I. Mr. Y.P. Rao, learned counsel appears on behalf of respondents no.3 to 6.

Notices to respondents no.2, 7 and 8 are dispensed with for the present.

Mr. Ranjit Kumar has already filed a counter affidavit on behalf of respondent no.1-U.O.I. He proposes to file a supplementary affidavit to bring on record certain subsequent developments. He may do so within six weeks. Mr. Y.P. Rao may also file counter affidavit within six weeks. Rejoinder affidavit, if any, be filed by the petitioner within two weeks thereafter. Post on a non-miscellaneous day after the needful is done.

We make it clear that the pendency of the present proceedings shall not prevent the petitioners from filing a petition, if so advised, to challenge the notification issued under Section 31 of the Act on all such grounds as are legally open to it.

Objections, if any, to the application for impleadment, be filed by learned counsel for the parties in the meantime.
