It is stated by the learned counsel that the parties have compromised the matter and seek permission to compound the offence in Criminal complaint in C.C.No.410 of 2009 instituted under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act against the petitioner in the court of XIX Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, Telangana State. The terms of the compromise are set out in the application dated 27.09.2014 signed by the parties. The application for compounding the offence in C.C.No.410/2009 is allowed in accordance with the terms set out in the application. In view of the compounding, Criminal Complaint in C.C. No.410 of 2009 filed against the applicant-petitioner, before XIX Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad in the State of Telangana, is hereby quashed. The petitioner stands acquitted.
The applicant-petitioner, however, shall pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) to the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee within two weeks.
The special leave petition is accordingly disposed of.
