It is submitted that an application for exemption from surrendering (Criminal Misc. Petition No.17346 of 2014) in the matter above mentioned was listed before the Hon'ble Judge in Chambers on 1.09.2014 when His Lordship was pleased to pass the following order:

"The application for exemption from surrendering is allowed subject to depositing of a sum of Rs.7,00,000/-(Rupees seven lakhs) with the Registry of this Court within a period of four weeks failing which the Special Leave Petition shall stand dismissed.

In case the deposit is made, the Registry shall place the matter before the appropriate Bench immediately."

It is submitted that pursuant to the order quoted above Counsel for the petitioner has not deposited the requisite amount within the stipulated time granted by this Court instead Counsel has filed application for extension of time to deposit the amount alongwith application for modification of Court's order dated 1.09.2014 which have been registered as CRLMP Nos.20231 and 20232 of 2014, respectively. Copy of the same is included in the Special Leave Petition paper books for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

The applications above mentioned are listed before the Hon'ble Judge-in-Chambers for orders.
