UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R I.A. Nos.5-8 of 2014 in SLP(C) Nos. 3076-3079 of 2014 Mr. D.M. Nargolkar, advocate-on-record for the 3 applicant-State of Maharashtra, shall give a copy of the Applications for directions (I.A. Nos.5-8 of 2014) to Mr. Krishnamurthi Swami, advocate-on-record for the State of Telangana. All the three States, namely, State of Karnataka, State of Andhra Pradesh and State of Telangana and so also Union of India may respond to
the aforesaid applications within four weeks.
List these applications for consideration after four weeks.

Mr. C.S. Vaidyanathan, learned senior counsel for the applicant-State of Telangana states that the applicant may be impleaded as proforma respondent as applicant reserves its right in challenging the impugned order by a separate special leave petition.
In view of the above, applicant-State of
Telangana is impleaded as proforma respondent being respondent No.4.
Amended cause title shall be filed by the advocate-on-record for the State of Andhra Pradesh within two weeks.
I.A. Nos. 9-12 of 2014 are allowed accordingly.

Section 104 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 reads as under:-
"Where, immediately before the appointed day, the existing State of Andhra Pradesh is a party to any legal proceedings with respect to any property, rights or liabilities subject to apportionment between the States of Andhra Pradesh and 5
Telangana under this Act, the State of Andhra Pradesh or the State of Telangana which succeeds to, or acquires a share in, that property or those rights or liabilities by virtue of any provision of this Act shall be deemed to be substituted for the existing State of Andhra Pradesh or added as a party to those proceedings, and the proceedings may continue accordingly."
In view of the above, the prayer made in the application is granted in terms of para 5 of the application. Accordingly, existing respondent No.1 shall be designated now as follows :-
- 1(a) State of Andhra Pradesh Represented by the Chief Secretary Government of Andhra Pradesh Secretariat Building Hyderabad 500 022
- 1(b) State of Telangana Represented by the Chief Secretary Government of Telangana Central Secretariat Hyderabad 500 022
Amended cause title filed by the Advocate on Record be taken on record and cause-title be amended accordingly.

In light of the order passed in I.A. 9-13 of
