The Registry has invited the Court's attention to the proviso to Section 23 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, as also Order XXIV Rule 7 of the Supreme Court Rules, 2013 insofar as the instant aspect of the matter is concerned.

It seems to us, that the Registry should obtain necessary instructions from Hon'ble the Chief Justice of India, on the administrative side, as to how the deposit should be appropriated in a case where neither party moves an application for refund.

The Registry is accordingly directed to obtain necessary instructions in this regard, on the administrative side, from The chief Justice of India so as to apply the same to all 12:45:44¹¹⁵<br>Reasmatters of this nature.
