UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
CA Nos. 8378/2018, 10902/2018, 5401/2019, 6658- 6659/2019, 5738/2019, Diary No(s). 7849/2020, Diary No(s). 10716/2020,
Applications for exemption from filing affidavit, permission to file additional documents/facts/annexures, exemption from filing C/C of the impugned judgment in all the matters are allowed.
Delay condoned in Diary Nos. 7849/2020 and 10716/2020.
The appeals are admitted.
We note with deep sense of regret that there is complete lack of cooperation being shown by the counsels to the get the matters ready, to be heard by the Court and yet judicial time is wasted for purposes which should be either before the Registry or inter se the counsels.
It is stated before us that the appellants will be filing the convenience compilation and we make it clear that is the only compilation we will refer to. A list of what will be included in the compilation will be circulated by the appellants to all the respondents within one week. If the respondents want something else to be added to the compilation, they will indicate the same within a week thereafter, otherwise it will be presumed that there is nothing to be added to the compilation. The compilation shall be prepared and filed on or before 04.01.2022.
A short synopsis to be filed running into not more than five pages each. We have made it clear to learned counsels that the opening arguments should not go beyond about an hour and a half. Correspondingly, the respondents would be required to take lessor time as the case would have been opened before us.
List in the week commencing 01.02.2022.
C.A. No. 3675/2020, C.A. No. 145/2021
