The matters above-mentioned were listed before the Hon'ble Court on 19.09.2016, when the Court was pleased to pass the following Order:

"Issue notice, returnable within ten weeks.

The petitioner in both the special leave petitions jointly, shall deposit the amount awarded by the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission within four weeks hence before the Registry of this Court.

Respondents are granted liberty to withdraw the amount without furnishing any security."

It is submitted that there are two respondents in this matter. Show cause notice returnable on 28.11.2016 was issued to both the respondents through Registered A.D. Post and the same has been delivered to them but no one has entered appearance so far. However, Mr. Mrinmoy Dutta, Respondent-in-Person No. 1 has filed application for permission to appear and argue-in-person in connected matter i.e. SLP(C) No. 26959 of 2016 and date of hearing has been intimated to him. Respondent No.2 is petitioner in SLP(C) 26959 of 2016 who is represented through Mr. Arijit Bhattacharjee,Advocate.

It is further submitted that as per above said Order Counsel for the Petitioner has deposited the amount of Rs. 3,05,000/- (Rupees three lakhs and five thousand only) for disbursement, which is under process.

In respect of respondent No.2 is petitioner in SLP(C) 26877 of 2016 who is represented through Ms. Manju Jetley,Advocate.

It is further submitted that as per above said Order Counsel for the Petitioner has deposited the amount of Rs. 3,05,000/- (Rupees three lakhs and five thousand only) for disbursement, which is under process.
