UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
IA No.151657/2021
1. The present application has been filed by the learned counsel for 228 petitioners for seeking exemption from filing separate surrender certificates in respect of each of the petitioners, on a plea that the vakalatnamas filed on record would reveal that they have been attested by the concerned Jail Superintendent.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the said vakalatnamas have been filed at pages 123 to 149 of the main paper book. The same are, however, not on record. Learned counsel for the petitioners further expresses an urgency in the matter stating that the petitioners have writtten to this Court for being released Digitally signed by Dr. Mukesh Nasa Date: 2021.12.01 16:31:59 IST Reason: Signature Not Verified
on parole, as has been granted by this Court to similarly placed petitioners vide order dated 29.09.2021, passed in W.P.(C)1067 of 2021, order dated 25.10.2021 in W.P.(Crl) 433 of 2021, order dated 08.10.2021 in W.P.(C) 1109 of 2021 and order dated 29.10.2021 in W.P.(C) 1171 of 2021.
3. In view of the urgency expressed by learned counsel for the petitioners, while refraining from passing any orders on the present application for exemption from filing separate surrender certificates, the Registry is directed to list the present application as it is along with the main petition before the Roster Bench for appropriate orders, within one week.
