1. The Secretary, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kaithal, who is connected virtually along with the petitioner Dharampal and all the legal heirs of deceased respondent-Lachhman Dass including his widow, Ms. Rekha are present.

2. A Settlement Deed transcribed in Hindi language and duly signed by all the parties has been received by this Court along with the covering letter of the Secretary, DLSA, Kaithal.

3. As per the settlement, the landlord and tenants have agreed that half of the shop would be retained by the tenant(s) and the other half would be given in possession to the landlord-petitioner.

4. Further, the arrears of rent have been waived by the landlord. However, under the new settlement, half portion which the tenant(s) will retain the rent has been settled at the market rate.

5. Accordingly, the parties state that the petition may be disposed of in terms of the settlement.

6. Petition is, accordingly, disposed of in terms of the Settlement Deed. Parties to act accordingly and shall abide by the terms of the Settlement Deed.

7. Court fee be refunded as per Rules.
