UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

• 1 During the course of the arguments, Ms V Mohana, senior counsel appearing on behalf of the applicants, submitted that no approach paper was prepared by the Naval authorities. In the tabular statement which is annexed at para 7 of the counter affidavit filed by Commodore Manoj Jha, there is a disclosure of the look years for each of the six applicants and the years for which they were considered by the Promotion Boards.
• 2 The Attorney General for India has, in response to the submission that there was no approach paper for the years in question, submitted that there were approach papers for the relevant periods and he has no objection to produce them for perusal of the Court.
• 3 List the Miscellaneous Application on 5 January 2024.
