UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

Heard Mr. Mukul Rohatgi, learned senior counsel for the petitioners, Mr. Maninder Singh, learned Additional

Solicitor General for the Union of India and Mr. Vikas Singh, learned senior counsel along with Mr. Gaurav Sharma, learned counsel for the Medical Council of India.

It is submitted by Mr. Rohatgi, learned senior counsel that the order dated 22nd August, 2017, passed in Writ Petition (Civil) No.689 of 2017, titled "Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) and Anr. vs. Union of India and Others", should be applicable to his case. There cannot be any dispute that the said order is applicable to the present case. Learned counsel for the petitioner would further contend that the order must be uploaded on the website of the Directorate General of Health Services. Mr. Maninder Singh, learned Additional Solicitor has assured the Court that the order shall be uploaded in the course of the day. The Medical Council of India shall also upload the order. Needless to say, the students who fall within the category of NRI as per the order, are permitted to do the needful as required under the procedure.

List the matter for final disposal on 23rd November, 2017.
