The matter above-mentioned was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 18.04.2017 alongwith main matter i.e. C.A. No. 8903 of 2012, when the Court was pleased to inter-alia pass the following order:-
"SLP (C) No. 22122/2015
The learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the Ministry of External Affairs have submitted that the possession had been taken long back and utilized for the purpose of SAARC University. However, in order to avoid any other disputes, it is submitted that the petitioner-authority is prepared to work out and grant compensation under the Right to Fair compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
The learned counsel for the respondents seeks a week's time to get instruction. Post on 26.04.2017."
It is submitted that there are 7 respondents in this matter. Counter-affidavit filed by counsel appearing for Respondent Nos. 1-4 and 6-7 have been included in SLP paper-books. Counsel appearing for Respondent No. 5 has not filed counter-affidavit so far.
It is further submitted that Mr. B. K. Prasad, Advocate has filed application for impleadment to implead "Union of India (Ministry of External Affairs as Respondent No. 8 (registered as I.A. no. 2) and the same has been included in SLP paper-books.
