UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

1 The principal amount has been deposited with a delay of three days. The delay is condoned. The Registry shall furnish a receipt for the principal amount which has been deposited since the delay has been condoned. The applications for condonation of delay and exemption from filing affidavit are accordingly disposed of.

  • 2 The amount deposited in the Registry shall be kept in a short term fixed deposit in a nationalized bank.
  • 3 Mr Arup Banerjee, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the APIIC, seeks an adjournment to file a counter affidavit.
  • 4 Counter affidavit be filed within a period of six weeks, as prayed.
  • 5 List the Special Leave Petition in the week commencing 31 August 2020.
