3. Learned counsel for the High Court seeks and is permitted two weeks' time to file the status report.
W.P(C) No.489/2025, W.P.(C) No. 482/2025 & W.P.(C) No.492/2025 (Item Nos.38 to 38.2)
4. In the lead case, i.e., W.P.(Crl.) No.169/2025, the Registrar General of the Jharkhand High Court was directed vide order dated 05.05.2025 to furnish the information as per paragraph 9 of the said order. Thereafter, in paragraph 10, the Registrar Generals of the High Courts were further directed to submit reports in respect of those cases where the judgments were reserved on or before 31.01.2025 and the pronouncement was still awaited. It was specifically mentioned that the reports shall contain the criminal appeals and civil matters separately with a further specification as to whether it is a Division Bench matter or Single Bench matter. 5. The Registrar General of Jharkhand High Court has thereafter submitted a status report which pertains to criminal appeals only. No details of the civil matters were furnished. It was for this reason that on 16.05.2025, the Registrar Generals of the High Courts were directed to furnish a report with respect to all civil matters where arguments have been heard but the judgments have not been pronounced for more than three months. This information would obviously include W.P(S) No.1440/2021 and all other connected matters pertaining to the service disputes or appointment of Home Guards by way of written and physical examination. Even today that information has not been furnished.
6. As a last opportunity, the High Court of Jharkhand through its Registrar Generals are directed to furnish complete details of the

civil matters, including Writ Petitions, Civil Appeals, Civil Revisions or other Miscellaneous Petitions, where arguments have been heard before 31.01.2025 but the judgments have not been pronounced. Even in the cases where judgments have been pronounced, we direct the Registrar General to furnish the list when the judgment was uploaded on the website.
7. Meanwhile, the Registrar General of the High Court is directed to ensure listing of W.P.(C) No.1439/2021, W.P.(C) No.1440/2021, W.P.(C) No.1413/2022, W.P.(C) No.1513/2021, W.P.(C) No.1531/2021 & W.P.(C) No.1576/2021, after obtaining necessary orders from the Hon'ble the Chief Justice of the High Court, before the appropriate Bench, which is said to have heard the matters and reserved the judgment. The learned Judge may be requested to pronounce the judgment at the earliest and if so required, learned counsel for the parties may be reheard. We request the learned Judge to pronounce the judgment by 31.07.2025.
8. Post the matters on 08.08.2025.
