Learned counsel for the petitioner draws our attention to judgment of this Court passed in K. Madalaimuthu And Another versus State of T. N. And Others, (2006) 6 SCC 558 to contend that seniority does not ipso facto follow a retrospective regularization of services of an appointee under Rule 10 (a) (1) of the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Rules, 1955.
