Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

In exercise of our jurisdiction under Article 136 of the

Constitution, we do not find any ground to interfere with the order passed by the High Court. The Special Leave Petition is, accordingly, dismissed.

However, considering the facts of this case, we direct that if the petitioner applies for bail before the Trial Court, such application shall be considered as expeditiously as possible and in accordance with law.

For a period of three weeks from today or till the passing of the order on the bail application, whichever is earlier, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner.

Pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of accordingly.
