Petition No. D-46 of 2011 titled as Mr. E. Ravishankar Vs. Mrs. Veena Ravishankar, pending before the Family Court, Bandra, Mumbai.

We have heard Mr. Vishwajit Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Jayant Bhushan, learned senior counsel for the respondent and carefully perused the record.

In our view, it will be in the interest of justice to accept the prayer made by the petitioner.

The transfer petition is accordingly allowed and M.J. Petition No. D-46 of 2011 titled as Mr. E. Ravishankar Vs. Mrs. Veena Ravishankar, pending before the Family Court, Bandra, Mumbai is transferred to the Family Court at Lucknow, U.P. with a direction that the transferred case be disposed of as early as possible but latest within a period of one year from the date of receipt of the record from the Family Court, Bandra, Mumbai.
