UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following ORDER

It is submitted by Mr. Maninder Singh, learned Additional Solicitor General that the Departments are working in harmony to bring in a comprehensive policy keeping in view the interest of the younger generation who should be away from the drug abuse. It is urged by him, a High Powered Committee has been constituted to look into the same.

In view of the aforesaid, we direct the High Powered Committee Signalt Gal Verific Submit a report, through the learned Additional Solicitor Gameral, by end of January 2018.

Needless to say, copy of the report shall also be given to the concerned Ministry so that it can also add certain suggestions or take a policy decision so that the same can be appreciated by this

Court.

Let the matter be listed in the 2nd week of February 2018.
