The present petition has been filed by the petitioner-wife seeking transfer of a petition for restoration of conjugal rights filed by the respondent-husband under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 being HMA No.135/2021 titled as "Saurabh Bassi vs. Sakshi Bassi" from the Court of the Additional Civil Judge, Senior Division (exercising powers of a District Judge under the 🏰 🎇 du Marriage Act), Amloh Fatehgarh Sahib Punjab to the District Family Court at Kanpur Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

Learned counsel for the petitioner-wife submits that after

parting company from her husband, the petitioner-wife has moved back to Kanpur, U.P. where she is residing at her parental home along with her five year old daughter, born from out of the wedlock. She is not in a financial position to contest the petition filed by the respondent-husband under Section 9 at Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab.

Issue notice.

In the meantime, there shall be a stay of further proceedings in HMA No.135/2021 pending before the Additional Civil Judge, Senior Division (exercising powers of a District Judge under Hindu Marriage Act), Amloh Fatehgarh Sahib Punjab.
