UPON hearing the counsel, the Court made the following O R D E R

<span id="page-3-0"></span>These special leave petitions require an answer to the third question noticed in paragraph '3' of the judgment in "Union of India v. M. V. Mohanan Nair"1, which reads as under: -

"Whether the respondents are entitled to stepping up of their grade pay to be on a par with grade pay of their juniors who were getting the higher grade pay on account of implementation of MACP Scheme?"

Learned counsel for the parties will file written submissions on the said question not exceeding two pages.

The written submissions will be filed through the Nodal Counsel, namely, Mr. Shrutanjaya Bhardwaj (e-mail – [email protected] and [email protected]), Mobile No.9910809384), and Ms. Vaishali Verma (email[email protected]). The said written submissions will be filed within a period of three weeks from today.

The Union of India and the employees/officers shall also file separate lists of dates and events, not exceeding two pages in each of the matters, within a period of three weeks from today through the Nodal Counsel.

The intervenors, even in cases where applications are not allowed, can file the written submissions and lists of dates and events through the Nodal Counsel.

We clarify that the parties who do not file the written submissions and lists of dates and events will not be heard.

List the matters after four weeks.
