ORDER

After hearing the counsel for the parties, this court is of the opinion that the applicant Mahatma Gandhi University should issue a comprehensive order with respect to the entitlements (pay revision and fixation, terminal and pensionary benefits, wherever applicable), of Dr. Jacob. K. Daniel, having regard to the benefits extended to Abdul Hakim and others (beneficiaries of this court's order in CA No. 2388-2389 of 2019). It was clarified by this Court that the petitioner shall be entitled to the same benefits. The comprehensive order shall be made within four weeks. The order shall also annex copies of the orders made or relevant documents pertaining to Abdul Hakim. In case the respondent/contempt petitioner is aggrieved by the order or any part thereof, it is open for him to seek appropriate remedies. In such event, the court requested to deal with and decide the matter expeditiously considering that the respondent/contempt petitioner has since retired.

The contempt petition and application are disposed of in the above terms.
