UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

An affidavit has been filed by the State of Maharashtra to the effect that Rs.101.34 crores have been released on 7.12.2017 subsequent to our order dated 14.11.2017.

It is further stated on affidavit that the electricity supply to 368 jeans washing units has been disconnected in Ulhasnagar and Ambernath. The water supply of 24 jeans washing units has been disconnected in Ulhasnagar. In other words, action has been taken against 392 jeans washing units located in Ulhasnagar.

It is further stated that all the jeans washing units at Ulhasnagar have voluntarily stopped their manufacturing activities since 27.11.2017 and there is no

discharge of effluents by jeans washing units in Waldhuni and Ulhas rivers.

This is disputed by learned counsel for Respondent No.1 who may file an affidavit within two weeks.

List the matter on 18th January, 2018, the date already fixed.
