The Transfer Petition above mentioned was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 11th July 2016, when the Court was pleased to pass the following Order:

"Application for permission to appear and argue in person is allowed.

Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondentinperson and by way of mutual consent, they have agreed to settle the matter amicably.

In view of the same, the matter is referred to the Supreme Court Mediation Centre. The parties are directed to approach the Mediator, Supreme Court Mediation Centre on Friday, the 29th July, 2016 at 11.00 a.m.

However, the respondenthusband is directed to pay to the petitionerwife a sum of Rs. 20,000/ as costs to contest the matter in question before the Mediator.

The Mediator is directed to explore the possibility of an amicable settlement between the parties and send a Report to this Court as early as possible, preferably, within a period of two weeks. List after receipt of the Report of Mediator."

Accordingly, copy of Court's Order dated 11th July, 2016 was sent to the Supreme Court Mediation Centre as well as parties were also informed to appear before the Supreme Court Mediation Centre on 29th July, 2016 vide this Registry's letters dated 20th July, 2016.

It is submitted that Mediation Report dated 30th August, 2016 has been received from the Supreme Court Mediation Centre. Copy of the same has been included in the Paper Books. Contd...2/

It is further submitted that notice of hearing to appear before the Hon'ble Court on 17.10.2016 was sent on 21.09.2016 to the Respondentinperson through Speed Post and as per speed post track report, the said notice has been delivered to him on 23.09.2016.

Service of show cause notice as well as notice of hearing is complete.

The matter abovementioned is listed before the Hon'ble Court with this Office Report.
