We are not inclined, at this stage, to interfere with the impugned judgment inspite of the assertions made, and leave it open Date: 2024.05.18 12:55:10 IST Reason:

to the petitioners to approach the High Court by way of appropriate application for modification of the directions that vehicles will be confiscated. It is submitted that the said directions have been made without hearing the petitioners, and there is no provision in law for confiscation of vehicle. If any such application is filed, the same will be considered in accordance with law.

The petitioners, if still aggrieved, will be at liberty to challenge the impugned order dated 04.01.2024.

Recording the aforesaid, the special leave petition is dismissed.
