UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

It is stated by Shri Shekhar Naphade, learned Senior Counsel, notwithstanding the pleadings, the vires of Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 is not being raised in the present special leave petition.

On the basis of the aforesaid statement, we issue notice and tag the present case with Special Leave Petition(C) No.31652 of 2016.

In the meantime, status quo with regard to the land, as on today, be maintained by the parties.
