UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
1. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that even if the entire claim of the petitioner is accepted, the amount would not have come to more than 3.71 crores.
2. It is submitted that the amount deposited in the High Court alongwith interest comes to around Rs. 80 lakhs.
3. We, therefore, direct the respondent to deposit an amount of Rs. 3 crores in the High Court within a period of four weeks from today.
4. On such deposit being made, the said amount is directed to invest in an interest bearing deposit in a Nationalized Bank, until further orders.
5. In that view of the matter and since the interest of the petitioner is more than adequately protected, the interim protection granted to the petitioner stands vacated.
