The above Writ Petition is filed by Mr N. Rajaraman & Anr.,

Petitioner-in-persons on 01.07.2014 praying therein to :-

"(a) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to implement the provision under the Section 6(2) of the Wetlands (Conservation and Management) Rules 2010, in all the States in the Country by directing their respective Chief Secretaries to identify and classify the wetlands within their respective territories in accordance with the criteria specified under Rule 3 of Wetlands (Conservation and Management) Rules 2010 and submit the same to the said authority etc."

It is submitted that Notice of hearing for 1.9.2014 has been sent to both Petitioner-in-persons on 6.8.2014 through Registered A.D. Post. Neither A.D. card nor unserved cover containing the notice of hearing has been received back so far. However, Petitioner-in-person has been informed telephonically of the date of hearing of the matter.

The Writ Petition alonwith Application above-mentioned is listed before the Hon'ble Court with this Office Report for orders.
