Mr. Harish Pandey,Adv UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following O R D E R By filing this application the petitioner has prayed to extend the time for compliance of the order dated August 2, 2010 passed in SLP(C) No.. CC 10437-10439/2010 upto December 1, 2010. : 2 : This Court has heard the learned Counsel for the parties. During the course of hearing of the applications, the learned Solicitor General has produced a photostate copy of the letter dated October 4, 2010 addressed by the Under Secretary to the Government of India, to the Chief of Army Staff for the perusal of the Court. It is taken on the
record of the case. From the contents of the said letter, it is evident that grant of permanent commission to the women officer of AEC and JAG would be made effective for those officers who are in service as on August 2, 2010 and thereafter as and when due. It is further mentioned therein that the terms and conditions mentioned in for Government of India MoD letter dated September 26, 2008 relating to grant of PC to JAG and AEC SSC Women officers stands modified to the above extent so far as it applies to Army.
In the present applications, the steps which are required to be taken are enumerated in paragraph 4 of the applications.
Having regard to the facts of the case, this Court is of the opinion that the prayer made by the petitioners to extend the time till December 1, 2010 to enable them to implement order dated August 2, 2010, deserves to be granted.
: 3 : For the foregoing reasons, the application for extention of time (IA Nos. 4-6 of 2010) succeed. The prayer made in paragraph 12(a) of the applications are granted. Accordingly, the applications stands disposed of.
As prayed for, list the matters i.e. SLP(c) Nos. 10437 to 439 of 2010 for final disposal on non-miscellaneous day in the week commencing from 22nd November, 2010.
