Leave granted.

This appeal arose from an interim order of the Division Bench of the High Court of Calcutta dated 30.6.2017. The High Court issued an ad-interim direction for the postponement of the interviews scheduled by the State Public Service Commission for employment to various posts in July, 2017.

While issuing notice on 14.7.2017, this Court stayed the operation of the impugned order of the High Court.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Public Service Commission states that following the interim order of this Court, the selection process was completed.

Since these proceedings arose from an ad interim order of the High Court and the main writ petition has not been heard, we deem it appropriate and proper to dispose of the civil appeal by directing that our interim order dated 14.7.2017 staying the ad-interim order of the High Court shall continue, pending the hearing and final disposal of the writ petition by the High Court.

The civil appeal is, accordingly, disposed of. No costs.
