UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
Ms. Prerana Chaturvedi, Ld. Counsel for the petitioner submits that Mrs. Rachana Joshi Issar, Ld. Advocate-on-Record has left the panel of Punjab Urban Development Authority (NOW Bathinda Development Authority) in all the matters numbered above. She further submits that the said Ld. AOR has already provided the "NOC" and requisite documents to the concerned party.
Since Mrs. Rachana Joshi Issar, Ld. Advocate-on-Record has left the panel and handed over the NOC, the Punjab Urban Development Authority (NOW Bathinda Development Authority) has to appoint a new Counsel in her place. Let the Registry to issue notice for making alternative arrangement with utmost dispatch.
The office report indicates that in SLP(C) No. 10958/2018 vakalatnama filed by learned counsel for respondent No.1 is defective. Learned counsel shall within a period of two weeks cure the defects whatever have been found in the said vakalatnama.
Service of notice is complete qua respondent Nos.2 and 3 but no one has entered appearance on their behalf.
The office report further indicates that Ms. Archana Pathak Dave, Ld. Counsel has filed IA for permission to file counter affidavit in SLP(C) No. 13401/2018. The same cannot be taken on record as counter affidavit filed by her is defective. Ld. Counsel shall within a period of two weeks cure the same.
Learned counsel has also filed an application for substitution to bring on record the Lrs. of deceased respondent No.2. Registry has pointed out defects in the said application. Learned counsel for petitioners shall, within a period of four weeks, rectify all such defects.
Service is complete on the remaining respondents. The respondents, who have already appeared but have not filed counter affidavit, shall file the same within a period of four weeks as a last chance.
In all other matters the appearing respondents who have not filed counter affidavit so far, shall within a period of four weeks as a last chance file the same.
Filing of the spare copies of the petitions be dispensed with in respect of unserved respondents. Registry to issue notice with utmost dispatch.
