UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

Issue notice. In the meantime, we direct the petitioner to consider the claim of the son of the deceased under Rule 4 of the Policy incorporated in Notification No.G.S.R.I/ Const./ All 309/2003 dated 28th February, 2003, without taking into account the rejection on 10th August, 2006 of the application for compassionate appointment made by the widow. The operation of the impugned judgment shall remain stayed, in the meantime.
