An application (I.A. NO.186980 OF 2019) has been filed by learned counsel for the appellant to withdraw the civil appeal in order to approach the concerned Authority to avail the benefit under the scheme "Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme, 2019" from the Central Excise & Service Tax Department.

For the reasons stated in the application supported by an affidavit, application (I.A. NO.186980 OF 2019) is allowed.

Accordingly civil appeal is disposed of as withdrawn with the liberty to the appellant to avail the benefit under the scheme "Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme, 2019", if entitled.

UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

Civil Appeal No.8397/2011 & Civil Appeal No.9023/2011

As per Office Report dated 11.02.2020, service of notice on the appellants in both the matters for making alternative arrangement is complete; but no one has entered appearance so far.

In view of above, Supreme Court Legal Services Committee (SCLSC) shall nominate an advocate to appear and argue both the matters i.e. Civil Appeal No.8397/2011 & Civil Appeal No.9023/2011 on behalf of the appellants within two weeks.

Thereafter, learned counsel so nominated by Supreme Court Legal Services Committee to take steps to complete service on the unserved respondents no.10 and 24 in Civil Appeal No.8397 of 2011 and unserved respondents no.1, 3, 4, 10, 14, 15 and 20.

As prayed, delay of 20 days in filing the spare copies of appeal papers is condoned.
