UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
- 1 Twenty three High Courts have filed their compliance affidavits in pursuance of the previous directions of this Court.
- 2 Soft copies of the affidavits shall be compiled and supplied to Ms Charu Ambwani counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Ms Aishwarya Bhati, Additional

Solicitor General.
- 3 The High Courts who have not filed their responses shall positively do so within a period of two weeks failing which this Court would be constrained to take a serious view of any default.
- 4 By the next date of listing, we request the counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Ms Richa Kohli, counsel assisting Ms Aishwarya Bhati, Additional Solicitor General to jointly prepare a tabulated statement in regard to the position as it obtains in the High Court across the country so that comprehensive directions can be issued by this Court at that stage.
- 5 List the Writ Petition on 08 September 2023.
- 6 Any additional affidavits that the High Courts seek to file may be filed before the next date of listing.
