UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
Pursuant to this Court's order dated 19th July, 2013, the Registry has despatched copies of the report filed by the National Legal Services Authority to the learned counsel appearing for different States as well as the Union of India on 27th July, 2013.
Counsel appearing for the Union of India as well as the counsel appearing for the Union of India and different States will take instructions from the respective authorities of the Central Government as well as the State Governments on the Report of the National Legal Services Authority and come prepared for the hearing on 3rd September, 2013.
Learned counsel for the petitioner will serve a copy of the proposed directions sought from this Court on the counsel for the Union of India, the Counsel for all the States and the counsel appearing for NALSA by email and all the counsel will come prepared on the proposed directions for hearing on the next date of hearing.
Counsel for the NALSA may also prepare the proposed directions that may be issued to different States and the Union of India and circulate the same to the counsel for the Union of India, counsel for the petitioner and the counsel for all the States within two weeks from today.
