1 Issue notice on the Special Leave Petition, and on the prayer for interim relief, returnable in eight weeks.

  • 2 Mr Abhimanyu Bhandari, learned counsel appears on behalf of the caveators, who, it is submitted, were respondent Nos 5 to 27 in the writ proceedings before the High Court.
  • 3 On the oral request of Mr Rakesh Khanna, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, permission is granted to implead the caveators. Mr Abhimanyu Bhandari waives service for the newly impleaded parties.
  • 4 Counter affidavit be filed within a period of four weeks from today. Rejoinder, if any, be filed within a period of two weeks thereafter.
