The Arbitration Application above mentioned has been filed by Mr. P.N. Puri, Advocate praying to appoint an arbitrator from the 1st Respondent Side to adjudicate the disputes between the parties.

It is submitted for the information of the Hon'ble Court that the Registry has found some defects in the arbitration petition and the counsel for the petitioner has filed a letter on 12.05.2016 stating therein that the Annexure P-1 in the petition is the Contract bearing NO. PUE782002/01 dated 29.09.2007 with the 1st Respondent i.e. Steel Authority of India (SAIL). The said agreement is voluminous in nature and therefore a typed copy could not be prepared in time and a photocopy has been filed with the petition. The petitioner has requested to take on record as is the same agreement as Annexure A-1.

It is further submitted that Ms. Sharmila Upadhyay, Advocate has on 23-05-2016 instead of filing caveat has filed Vakalatnama and Memo of appearance on behalf of Respondent No. 1 i .e. Steel Authroity of India (SAIL).

The matter is listed before the Hon'ble Court with this Office Report.
