UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

By judgment and order dated 12.02.2020 passed by this Court in

C.A. No. 1834 of 2018 following direction was passed:

"We direct that the respondents-writ petitioners (53 in number) or their legal heirs, as may be, be allowed to remain in occupation of the quarters for a period of 33(thirty three) months with effect from today, on the expiry of which they will handover vacant and peaceful possession of the said accommodation/quarter to the competent authority of the RSP."

The time granted by this Court will expire on 11.11.2020.

This application seeks extension of time to comply with the order dated 12.02.2020.

In the appeal filed in this Court, there were 43 respondents, some of whom had vacated the premises in their occupation.

Considering the present situation pursuant to lock-down, we may consider individual cases provided the details of the persons in occupation, the difficulty faced by them and an appropriate Undertaking that they shall vacate by 29.02.2021 is filed by each of the concerned persons.

List on 16.10.2020 for further consideration.
