UPON hearing the counsel the court made the following O R D E R

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that service has been effected on respondent No.6 but proof of dasti service has not been filed and the same shall be filed within two days.

  1. As regards respondent No.4, it is stated that the concerned authority has refused to accept notice. However, she submits that proper affidavit shall be filed bringing on record such situation. Let the same be filed within one week.

  1. Mr. Ishan Kapoor, learned counsel appears for respondent No.1- Union of India and states that the counter affidavit is in the final stages and he may be granted some time to file the same.

  2. From the records, it transpires that learned Registrar vide order dated 05th January, 2024 had declined any further indulgence for the respondent No.1 to file counter affidavit.

  3. Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 submits that he is appearing today for the first time in the present matter and earlier some other panel counsel for the Central Government was appearing.

  4. Be that as it may, by way of indulgence, last and final opportunity is granted to the respondent No.1 to file the counter affidavit on or before 01st April, 2024, failing which the right to file counter affidavit shall stand extinguished.

  5. List on 05th April, 2024.
