S.L.P. (C) NOS. 9292, 11335, 15251 AND 15250 OF 2015

The Office Report was listed before the Ld. Registrar's Court on 8th October, 2015, when the following order was passed:

"Two weeks time as last chance is given to Ld. Counsel for the petitionerl to file the spare copies of the petition, whereafter notice shall be issued to the unserved respondents with utmost dispatch.

List the matter again on 06.01.2016.."

S.L.P. (C) NOS. 9292, 11335 OF 2015

It is submitted that show cause notice was issued on 9th December, 2015, to both the respondents by registered A.D. Post in these matters. Mr. B. Balaji, Advocate has on 28th January, 2016, filed Vakalatnama/Appearance on behalf of both the respondents but has not filed Counter Affidavit in these matters so far.

S.L.P. (C) NO. 15251 OF 2015

It is submitted that show cause notice was issued on 10th December, 2015, to both the respondents by registered A.D. Post. A.D. Card duly signed and stamped has been received back from respondent No. 2 but no one has filed Vakalatnama/Appearance on behalf of the said respondent No. 2 so far. A copy of show cause notice was also issued to Mr. B. Balaji, Advocate (Standing Counsel for the State of Tamil Nadu) but he has not filed Vakalatnama/Appearance on behalf of both the respondents so far.

S.L.P. (C) NO. 15250 OF 2015

It is submitted that show cause notice was issued on 9th December, 2015, to all the three respondents by registered A.D. Post. A.D. Card duly signed and stamped has

been received back from respondent Nos. 2 and 3 but no one has filed Vakalatnama/Appearance on behalf of the said respondent Nos. 2 and 3 so far. A copy of show cause notice was also issued to Mr. B. Balaji, Advocate (Standing Counsel for the State of Tamil Nadu) but he has not filed Vakalatnama/Appearance on behalf of all the three respondents so far.

S.L.P. (C) NO. 15354 OF 2015

The Office Report was listed before the Ld. Registrar's Court on 17th February, 2016, when the following order was passed:

"Ld. Counsel for the petitioner has failed to take fresh steps in respect of the sole respondent in spite of last chance granted. Viewed in that context, the matter shall be processed for listing bfore the Hon'ble Judge in Chambers for further direction. Await orders and list thereafter."

Accordingly, office report on default was listed before the Hon'ble Judge in Chamber on 31st March, 2016, when His Lordship was pleased to pass the following order:

"Notice on SLP was issued on 2.7.2015. Till now despite granting sufficient opportunities to the learned counsel for the petitioner for submitting spare copy of he petition for effecting service on the sole respondent, she has not been able to ensure compliance of the previous orders, as a result of which notice could not be issued to the respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the spare copy of the petition shall be filed today itself. Be that as it may.

Two weeks, time is granted to the learned counsel for the petitioner to ensure compliance of the previous order, subject to payment of costs of Rs. 10,000/ to be paid to the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee within two weeks."

It is submitted that counsel for the petitioner has on 13th April, 2016 deposited cost of Rs. 10, 000/ in the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee and fresh show cause notice to unserved sole respondent was issued on 30th April, 2016, by registered A.D. post. Neither A.D. Card nor unserved cover containing the notice has been received back from the said sole respondent so far. A copy of show cause notice was

also issued to Mr. B. Balaji, Advocate (Standing Counsel for the State of Tamil Nadu) but he has not filed Vakalatnama/Appearance on behalf of the sole respondent so far.

The Office Report is listed before the Ld. Registrar's Court for orders. Dated this the 25th day of July, 2016.
