• 3 Tag with Civil Appeal Nos 1692-1693 of 2020.
• 4 Mr Tushar Mehta, learned Solicitor General, states that in the Civil Appeals in which notices have previously been issued by the Court, no interim orders were sought for stay of the demand since no demands had been raised. In the present case, it has been submitted that a demand notice has been issued on the basis of the order of the National Green Tribunal1.
• 5 We direct that pending further orders, there shall be a stay of recovery in pursuance of the impugned order of the NGT.
