PETITION FOR SPECIAL LEAVE TO APPEAL (CIVIL) Nos. 14381-14382 OF 2014

The matters above mentioned have been filed on 21st April, 2014 against the Impugned final Judgment and order dated 20th December, 2013 passed by the High Court of Judicature at Madras in Appeal Nos. 517 and 685 of 1993.

It is submitted that Mr. Rakesh K. Sharma, Counsel for the petitioner, has on 27th October, 2014 filed an application for exemption from filing the order dated 23rd July, 2010 which is registered as Interlocutory Application NO. 1 in view of letter of undertaking dated 5th May, 2014. Copy of the same is already placed in the Special Leave Petition paper books.

It is further submitted that Counsel for the petitioner has on 1st September, 2014 filed copy of the order dated 1st February, 1993 as Annexure P-10 and copy of the same has already placed in Special Leave Petition paper books. He has also filed a letter dated 3rd November, 2011 stating therein that order dated 1 st December, 1993 was wrongly mentioned in the letter of undertaking dated 5th May, 2014, the correct Trial Court order is 1 st February, 1993. Copy of the same has already placed in Special Leave Petition paper books.

PETITION FOR SPECIAL LEAVE TO APPEAL (CIVIL) NOS. 22795-22796 OF 2014

The matters above mentioned have been filed on 5th May, 2014 against the Impugned final Judgment and order dated 20th December, 2013 passed by the High Court of Judicature at Madras in A.S. Nos. 517 and 685 of 1993.

It is further submitted that Counsel for the Petitioner has on 9th September, 2014 filed additional documents(Vol. II and III) with application for exemption from filing official translation with affidavit in view of letter of undertaking dated 9th June, 2014 and copies of the same have been placed with Special Leave Petition paper books.

It is further submitted that both matters are arising out of common order.

The matters alongwith applications above mentioned are listed before the Hon'ble Court with this office report.
