UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

The learned Additional Solicitor General seeks a week's time for filing response of the Union of India in terms of the order dated February 10, 2005 passed by this Court. Let it be done p ositively within one week. The other States which have not filed their response may also do so Such of the States which are in need of the copies of any documents from the record may make a request for supply of the copies to the learned counsel for the petitioners or may secure the same from the Registry after depositing necessary copying charges.

The learned counsel for the petitioners files a brief compilation of the documents which, in h is submission, would only be needed to be referred. We appreciate such a step as it would mak e the hearing convenient. The other learned counsel may also obtain the copies of the said com pilation from the learned counsel for the petitioners.
