It is the specific case of the petitioner that Mohd. Irfan was stated to be in the Central Jail, Amritsar, Punjab.
The counter affidavit filed on behalf of Respondent No.2 kscloses that no Pakistani prisoner named Mohd. Irfan son of Mohd. Zahoor is confined in the Central Jail, Amritsar or in any other jail in the State of Punjab.
Since the say of the petitioner is unfounded and without any
evidence and in view of the specific affidavit filed by the Respondent No.2, no interference is called for.
Therefore, the writ petition fails and is dismissed.
