In the context of the application made by the petitioners with reference to the complaint made by Shri Sharat Choudhary, Assistant Director, Enforcement Directorate, which was forwarded to the Central Bureau of Investigation by Shri R.P. Upadhyay, Additional Director, Directorate of Enforcement, Department of Revenue, Shri Venugopal, learned senior counsel appearing for the C.B.I. placed before the Court a note containing the details of the steps taken by the C.B.I. after receipt of the letter of Shri R.P. Upadhyay along with complaint of Shri Sharat Choudhary. We have perused the note. The Court Master is directed to return the note to Shri Venugopal. The needful has been done.
The C.B.I. is directed to expedite the preliminary enquiry and inform the Court on July 6, 2011 about the progress made in the matter.
