UPON being mentioned the Court made the following O R D E R Shri K.K.Venugopal, learned senior counsel appearing for the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate handed over two sealed envelopes, which were opened in the Court. The envelopes contain 2 the Investigation Report of the Directorate of Enforcement for the period from 29.03.2011 to 25.04.2011. Shri Venugopal took us to some important paragraphs of the Report and submitted that the action proposed under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, will, as far as
possible, be taken within a period of two months against the

companies which have been mentioned in the report.
The Court Masters are directed to re-seal the envelopes. The needful has been done.
Shri Venugopal then handed over two sealed envelopes containing the Progress Report prepared by the CBI. The envelopes were opened in the Court and reports perused.

For the purpose of considering the report of the Income Tax Department and hearing arguments on the related issues, the case is adjourned to 03.05.2011.
While adjourning the case, we deem it proper to take cognizance of the fact that in compliance of the direction given by the Court, the Central Government has issued order for appointment of Shri U.U.Lalit, senior advocate, as Special Public Prosecutor to deal with the prosecution of all the matters relating to 2G Spectrum Case at all the stages.
