An office report for directions dated 24.09.2016 in the matter above mentioned was listed before the Hon'ble Judge in Chambers on 11.11.2016, when the Court was pleased to pass the following order:

"Learned counsel for the petitioners is granted four weeks' time to take fresh steps for effecting service on the unserved respondents in both the the special leave petitions and to file appropriate application to bring on record the LRs. of the deceased respondent No.3 in SLP(C) No.34567/2014. "

There are 3 respondents in this matter. Fresh steps have been taken by Counsel for the Petitioners for effecting service of notice to the unserved respondent nos. 1 to 3 on 24.1.2017 i.e., after four weeks time granted by the Hon'ble Judge in Chamber has expired. The counsel has not filed application for condonation of delay in filing spare copies so far.

There are 3 respondents and Respondent No. 3 is reported to be dead.

It is submitted that Counsel for the Petitioner has on 23.12.2016 filed an application for substitution for bringing on record the Lrs. of Respondent No. 3 alongwith an application for condonation of delay in filing the same as there is a delay of 667 days in filing substitution application. But the same is defective for the following reasons :

• 1. Annexures are not marked
• 2. On page No.2 Lrs. of Respondent No.1 is written instead of Respondent No.3

Counsel for the Petitioner has not cured the defects despite this Registry's letter dated 11.01.2017. However, unregistered application has been included in the Paper Books.

It is further submitted that fresh steps have been taken by the Counsel for the Petitioners for service of notice on unserved respondent nos. 1 and 2 on 24.01.2017 i.e., after four weeks' time granted by the Hon'ble Judge in Chamber has expired. The counsel has not filed application for condonation of delay in filing spare copies so far.

The office report is listed before the Hon'ble Judge in Chambers for further directions.
