UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
1. One of the issues in these matters pertains to appointment of Judicial/Technical/Accountants/Administrative Members in various Tribunals established under the provisions of the Constitution and/or different statutes.
2. We have impressed upon learned Attorney General for India to furnish the current status and stages of the ongoing selection process of all the Tribunals.
3. We have also suggested Shri Vikas Singh, learned Senior Counsel, and other members of the Bar, to give their valuable suggestions for improving the working conditions of the Tribunals, including the possibility of constituting the Circuit Benches, so as to provide easy access to justice to the litigants. Let such details and suggestions be furnished within four weeks to learned Attorney General for India.
4. Learned Additional Solicitor General of India will collate the information that may be gathered.
5. Post these matters for hearing on 03.03.2025.
